  72. This was a great topic. I wanted to go in several different directions with it. I started it early Friday, as soon as I saw the topic. However, the horrible news about the devastating tornadoes here in Florida moved me from the start I had already made to somewhere else entirely, that wasn't one of my early ideas. My post feels a little unfinished, even to me; but that's how I am feeling about it all right now: a little unsettled, a little unfinished, a little lucky, but quite a bit helpless and sad.

    Hello Sunday Scribblings!

Can you please fix my link? I'm #91, and somehow my link got cut in the beginning. Thank you so much!

    It should be:

    ReplyDelete
  103. Anonymous4:52 PM

For Your Information: something is wrong, although I have no idea where it is coming from, with entries 80 to about 86. %20 is being added one or more times to the end of the URL. It's easy to edit the address line and delete them, but it is a bother.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Anonymous6:53 PM

    Hi Sunday Scribblings again!

That's the problem with my entry (#91) and the entry after me (#92). I just looked at the URL from your site to my link, and there is an "%20" at the end of my permalink, too.

If you delete the "%20", the link works.

Thanks, Mike MC for figuring this out.

    http://www.lapagefrancaise.com/?p=164

    ReplyDelete
  108. Anonymous6:06 PM

    Hello Sunday Scribblings again-

Here's an answer to why some links have a %20 after them AFTER they are clicked (I think this is affecting 80-86, 91-92 so far).

There is a blank space saved after the permalink. When the link is clicked on, that blank space turns into %20 in the URL.

The fix: Go back to the affected URLs and delete the blank space after the permalink address.

I learned something new — I didn't know this could be a problem. This also explains why the %20 doesn't show up when I moused over the permalinks.

    Thanks!
