#49 - Superstition

Okay, scribblers, the prompt this week is: superstition. Do you have any? Do you scoff at them? Do you brazenly stroll under ladders and laugh at black cats? Do you know any really weird ones? Have you ever thought of what it would have been like to live in the Middle Ages, when superstitions were such a part of daily life, and could actually get you killed? Have fun with this one!

And remember, please leave permalinks. They're the ones that go to the specific post, not just to your blog. Thanks!

sooo many dumb superstions out there, went for the gift of gloves.
bad luck to give glove? give knives? give mirrors? well that means some one had it in for us this christmas just passed!

and apparently it's good luck to have a sparrow in the house, and it means some-one will die...ok, that could work out right...

    Your superstition is my protection
An entry about how my families fear of cats keeps me safe from them since I now have two cats. Their fear of them won't allow them to come to my home therefore giving me the ability to keep myself separate from their abusive behaviors. Their superstition keeps them from coming to my home, thus the title, Your superstition is my protection.
