Sunday Scribblings #16: "With Baggage"
That's the prompt this week: 'with baggage.'
Having just got back from a trans-Atlantic journey, my idea for a prompt this week comes from that moment when you have just gotten off of the plane and all you want to do is get out of the airport. You race through customs only to be stalled waiting at the baggage carousel. Study the faces watching that carousel go around sometime - it makes for great character sketches!!
'Baggage' is a funny word. Obviously it can be used to describe the stuff we all carry around with us on a daily basis, but you can also use it to describe a crazy journey, or to create a character to use in a novel or a short story. You could write about a trip that you took without baggage, or about the person in your life who carries the most. Whatever you do, write something! Happy Scribbling!
