I apologize for the delay! I was away for the weekend in a cottage without (gasp) the internet. It was lovely and nostalgic, so this week's post is: The Good Old Days.
This is my first time scribbling on a Sunday with you guys. What a wonderful writing exercise to start with. I'm looking forward to reading and reflecting.
Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

Is there such a thing? Here is a blast from the past...a letter from Jessie to Etta, circa 1960. Small town lifestyle!
Thanks for the fun prompts! I think I'll join in the fray.
I think we could all rustle up quite a few entries for this one! Even if one happened to be young (sigh) one could still look back a little way!
It's been a long time since I've been here, the words just haven't come, but today, they did. It feels good to be back.
I'm not sure for how long, whether the images will crowd out the words again, but for now, for today, it's good to be here. Writing.
The "good old days" I recalled for my post aren't lovely or nostalgic, and they weren't so good, either. You have been warned. :-p
Something I'll never forget.

*Wails* I'm too freakin' YOUNG to want to whine about the good old days...but I'm gonna do it anyway...
I would surprised by what this prompt reminded me of, but that's the fun of it. Happy memories and a good writing exercise, so thank you.
Looking forward to reading yours!

This was a trip down memory lane for me that I didn't mind taking.

I think I'll join in the fray.
