The prompt for this week is: mess. You can think mess, messy, clean up your mess, mess hall, or it's a mess. For such a simple word, there is a lot of weight in its meaning. What's your take on mess?
Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

Finally, thanks to a new calendar program, I remembered Sunday Scribblings on Sunday and got to participate. I love this idea. Thank you!

Thanks again!
This post is an excerpt from my second YA novel. Enjoy.
I feel like I haven't posted anything in forever. Hope you enjoy!
I have contributed my own mess. If you can't tell by the words of the poem my family is moving, with toddlers. Every day is a mess waiting to happen.
We always tell our kids to "clean up their mess". I've written a different perspective of this in a few paragraphs of micro-fiction, here.
hi Laini/Megg.. i posted my link as a whole by accident. can u please remove that? i've re posted it properly.

My post is up.
I don't like to become this angry but it is unavoidable with a mess of this multitude.
I came up with a mess of a poem...seriously, I worked hard to leave it alone to keep it "messy".
