I have been away for awhile. Love for me is like the sea, swirling and churning violent on the surface and calm quiet underneath, nothing but love can give you this thrill. Share some love!
"Love is everything and so by extension nothing. It is right and so by extension it is wrong. For one person it is, for others it is not. Love is living and so by extension dying. Love is life and life is love."
extremely broad word prompt this week. tried to start on it last nite, but was overwhelmed (LOL!) This morning, being more clear, I wanted to tell of my love for a very special person :-)
I had two ideas for this prompt: a symbolic blood-and-thorns monstrosity (which thankfully did not come to fruition) and the little faery piece I ended up doing. :)
Chiming in late here. I worked on my video last weekend, posted it on Monday, then embedded it in my blog entry on Thursday. My entry is about Dan Savage's "It Gets Better Project," a YouTube channel of love and outreach to bullied GLBTQ teens at risk of suicide.
@e-journeys, thank you for mentioning that project. I brought it up in church today... my daughter came out to a loving, supportive family. It's a part of who God made her!
Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

Sorry! The second one is this week's post. Is there a way to delete an accidental Mr. Linky?
Lovely prompt that might require more than just one post ;-)
I would agree... i think this prompt may require a few posts..from me at least.
This is a deceptively simple prompt and o so difficult too! I tried to sound a little different from conventional expectations!

Very wide open subject... but I went with the first idea that came to mind.
Great prompt as always, thanks :o)

Love? Really? I had to go for humor with my response.
I couldn't resist. It's been a long time since I posted a piece here.... and I'm glad to be back. Cheers.

It's part 2 of something I had written a few weeks ago.
I had two ideas for this prompt: a symbolic blood-and-thorns monstrosity (which thankfully did not come to fruition) and the little faery piece I ended up doing. :)
Ooo! this is challenging, but fun! Woot!
I am joining up from the example of my dear friend Jubie! I'll go and put out my first scribblings this afternoon.
