#247 - Manifesto

I know it is a big one, but the prompt this week is: Manifesto. Looking forward into a new year, there is always talk of resolutions or themes or plans.  I'd like to see if you can go a step further.

For inspiration, have a look at this or this.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

#246 - December

If you take away all of the hype and the hoopla of this time of year, underneath there is a month.  It is quite like some of the other months: 31 days, a nice soft-sounding name, a beginning, middle and end.  But that is where the similarities stop.  There is a lot of pressure on December to be a lot of things for a lot of people.  No matter what you believe in, I expect you will have a lot to say about December.

Warning: next week the prompt will be a big one!  I'm going to try to post it really early next week to give you a chance to think about it before Sunday.  Intrigued?

#245 - Limits

Coming up to the change of year it always feels like there is a lot of pressure to make a new start.  To promise yourself things or to seek to change yourself in some way seems to be the order of most January beginnings.  I think that before we leap into another year of resolutions, it would not hurt to look at what our limits are.  Where are your edges?  What is your limit?  Where do you stop and another begins?  What are the edges to your property? Your travel zone? Your boundaries?  How can you make resolutions if you don't know where they simply won't wiggle through?

What or where are your limits?

#244 - Guidance

As we get closer to the beginning of the new year, I thought it might be time to think about guidance.  Do you need some?  Could you give some? Do you know where some could be used?  Is there something new in your future?  It could be something as simple as how to cook the perfect turkey or as grand as the right way to move into 2011.  Give us your take on guidance.
