Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

Why is a number coming up above instead of my name?am I reduced to a number?

I think my use of the word is slightly inaccurate, since "flock" made me think of "angels". Well, it made for good inspiration, anyway.

Thanks for the prompt!
A flocked tapestry ... in a somewhat Ashberyan vein.
Since it is memorial weekend, my flock sent me to remembering those who have died serving our country.
Guess it's the memories of single motherhood that brought forth my "flock."
I thought it was a beautiful bird but it was just a rat :)
There was really only one flock I could possibly write about.
I'm now signing in as 'Other Mary', and I have run into another Mary out there! I'm joining the flock, and submitting a poem. Thanks for the prompt!
