Hello all -
I apologise for the lateness of this prompt. I have been away in a place with no internet connection (unexpectedly!) In the spirit of that, I would like to prompt you this week to write about: retreat.
When a Sunday comes up that I'm not doing work overspill, I like to do a Scribbling, so in absence of an SS prompt, I jotted down Like magic. The only thing it has to do with "retreat" is that this Sunday was like one to me.
What an appropiate prompt you have given us this week. I went into a blogging retreat a week ago and the play on words of backing off and the religious symbolism associated with retreat and prayer match up beautifully.
Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

Retreating into Fall... :-)
Sometimes, I just need a retreat from something so seemingly common place and normal that it's almost comical.
I also got a short story published for the first time it's here at:

It's been awhile since I participated here, but this week's prompt reminded me of actual retreats I've been on: Quiet retreat.
I could use a retreat, but this is the closest I'll get!
Hey appreciate all of you. I'm sitting back with a cup of coffee, ready to visit. Blessings Terri
My form of retreat is wandering. I like getting lost, only to wander my way out. There's something therapeutic about it.
This came to me as soon as I saw it! XD
Not my best work though! :P
