Sunday Scribblings #20 - "Who Else Can I Still Be?"
Inspired by Laini's prompt and by a comment and a suggestion made by Kerstin last week, this week's Sunday Scribblings prompt is: "Who Else Can I Still Be?"
Last week many of us prompted regrets, sadness, excitement, determination or wistfulness. With this week's prompt, hopefully you can open yourself up further to the possibilities. Maybe you are still determined to be a movie star or to change the world or to have children (or not!) Maybe you will write a book or live abroad or enjoy becoming a grandparent. You could use this as a prompt for some fiction and let one of your characters ponder this question. You could send us a list, a poem, a song, a timed piece, or anything really! Be gentle, be bold, and be honest: who else could you still be?
If you are new (and some of you who aren't new) to Sunday Scribblings, please see this post for help on how to do the perma-link. (I know that we keep going on about that pesky thing, but it makes our lives easier if we do not have to go to each individual person's blog to find the link to the specific Sunday Scribblings post.)
If you feel like it when you leave your comment, let us know how many weeks you have participated. We're at 20 weeks now - imagine how far we can go!!
Happy Scribbling!

I've done 7 Sunday Scribblings now and love every minute. I check the site regularly, and in anticipation, for the next one. There's something quite freeing about Sunday Scribblings - I'd do one every day if possible. It's also wonderful to see what others have written on the topic too. Some great writing out there.
Keep up the brilliant work.
I'm up! I really enjoyed this one!

I am not very pleased with what I wrote this week at all. But I asked to be on your participant list and you added me. And I made a commitment to myself to try always to write something for your prompt. This is the 7th (or 8th) week, I think, since I started; and I did write. It is at my regular Cynce & Noncynce blogspot, the link I usually leave, and anyone who wants to read it can go there and find it but you don't need to list me and I won't put the link address. I will do better next week. Cynce

I think I got in at #14, but skipped My Two Cents b/c I had nothing to say! ;)
I'm a little late - this is my first post to participate here!!

I did my first one on hotels... way back when... I'm wondering about timing though... I work every weekend and usually don't have time to get to Sunday Scribblings until Monday or even Wednesday! I would love to participate, but always feel like it's too late... are the timelines strict?
Here's mine!!! Haven't scribbled in a while, glad to be back.

This is my first time participating; I hope I'm not too late since a new post has already been added. This website is a great idea...I've looked back at previous questions and there are some other ones that I'd like to answer, too! :)
