#34 - Hero (see note!)

This week's prompt is centered around the word 'Hero.' You can choose any of these variations: hero, heroine, my hero, my heroine, or you can just use the word as you like.

Please follow these guidelines:
1. The link you leave must be to a new post that you have written based on the prompt.
2. Please leave a link to that post as a permalink in the comments. On Sunday Scribblings a permalink will look like a web address NOT like your name hilighted in the comment box.
3. Anyone is welcome to participate! If you have any questions, please refer to previous posts as they have probably been answered there!

Happy Scribbling!

Megg & Laini (everybody else can just scroll on past this without missing much),

Sorry that I initially included the permalink only in html'd up form... thus (I think) maybe breaking the rules?

My post is already showing up on the list (thank you!), but I am always harping at students to follow directions, so am feeling weird about maybe blowing it.

Are the permalinks easier for y'all to "harvest" if they're just straight text?

Like this? http://butwait.blogspot.com/2006/11/sunday-scribblings-heroes.html

In any case, I feel better now. Sorry for the interruption, everyone.

http://spirited-soul.blogspot.com/2006/10/freds-story.html

I wrote this in response to a piece of art elsewhere.
Heros don't choose to be heros, Fred was a very ordinary young man. He should have led a simple country life, instead he went to war and won the Military Medal and Bar (second award of this medal) and is buried in a cemetery in France. His sister married another extraordinary man, but that's another story.
