#87 - Walk
The prompt this week is: Walk. Tell us about a walk that you took on that amazing trip, or in the rain or this morning. Where do you walk? Do you walk to work? What's your actual walk like? Is it silly? Is it seductive? Describe the way that someone you love walks. Where would you love to walk? How far have you walked in your life? How many 'walks of life' are represented in your social circle? Where did your ancestors walk? Where would you walk if you could?
(We hope you are enjoying Mr. Linky as much as we are! Please remember to add the permanent link to the post and also remember that this link should be to a NEW post that was inspired by the prompt. This is all about inspiring new writing after all!!)

I don't know what I am doing. What does it mean that my name is in your page? Thank you.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I wrote something about walking...it is in my blog. I don't know how to leave here the permalink to my post. I am sorry.

This prompt gave me a chance to revisit my trip to Europe last November. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :-)
You may call this a bit of a stretch, but as a non driver, almost every situation calls for walking when necessary.

Hi everyone, I see Blogger has changed the comment box overnight. Now I'm a nickname.

Hello!! :)
My fictional character's walk became surreal rather quickly; that's late night writing for you!

happy to post this before I go off to work. This is an atypical walk for me. Hope you let me know YOUR opinions. :)
Thanks as usual!
I left a poem regarding a walk with a friend...happy to have found you and look forward to reading the other entries.

walking is my daily routine... strees relief and prayer time...
I began writing.....and out came a piece that is far more serious than I had intended. Interesting process writing can be??!
thanks again for the idea/prompt.
Not too awfully late this week -- have a nice weekend y'all!!
Walking around Aix en Provence with a child!

I've written about this morning's riverside walk
i had to leave my link twice today,,, i dont know why,, but it just disappeared the first time,, after i had clicked it to assure it was the proper link... very strange.....
Are we writing about walking or are we walking?
Funny how the Mr. Linky names are more than the comments and links.
http://www.looseleafnotes.com/notes/2007/12/walking_.html And how blogger won't let me sign in as OTHER anymore and will only accept Blogger bloggers.
I hope I did this right with Mr. Linky. There really are more names listed than comments. I also seem to have to sign in to Google before I can leave a comment -- otherwise it doesn't recognize me or my password.
Thanks for all the great prompts!
My two cents... Walk
Went with a poem I wrote in just about three minutes
look forward to visiting as many of you as I can
Take care,
Frances

Am I finally getting the hang of Mr. Linky?
'Poker Brown Flat' is a poem from a walk I took last June, the type of place I like to walk.
Been away for a little while, so much work. It's good to get a few minutes to write again.
Well Mr Linky disappeared and he ran off with my post which I made way back.......?

where is mr. linky?
Mr. Linky seems to be working fine. I have to admit my post is from my main blog about 5 months ago, but I like fitting it into this theme.
Oooh, prompted a little flash fiction. I love it when I can combine a visual (picture from Flickr) and a writing prompt.
Have a great week, everyone!

I thought I'd take the time to wax lyrical about my morning walks ~ just a paragraph or two, but good things come in small packages, so they say...

I linked a second time because for reasons I'm not getting Mr. Linky keeps sending people to a 2006 post. I couldn't figure out how on earth people kept going back to a year old post and leaving comments. Flattering I'm sure but confusing. Somehow the happy face next to my name--on Mr. Linky #82 made me look at the link a second time and there it was. Now you can go to the post that actually has to do with walking.

Nice topic, as always.
