#91 - Now & Then

The prompt for this week is sort of inspired by the new year, but it doesn't have to be. It's "Now & Then" or "now and then" if you feel like it.

Happy scribbling and a very safe, healthy and happy new year to you all!!

Your prompt led me towards trying to describe that transition period during childbirth! Heaven knows why.......

It's been a terrific year of creativity and connecting with other writers. Thank you for the motivational prompts.

Scribblers,
I wish for 2008 to inspire us to greater heights with our writing!

Then: before SS, I thought about writing.
Now: because of SS, I write!

Thanks to all and Happy New Year to each and everyone.

Well I didn't really set about to do this one, but now I see that my post fits the Now and Then theme: My story spans from Before the start of the Iraq War to Now. http://www.looseleafnotes.com/notes/2007/12/dream_for_president_bush_on_th.html#comments

Fun prompt...I ended up adding "way back then" so it reflects now, ten years ago, and twenty years ago.

Please don't think I'm being greedy adding another post, something just led me to the site I've added, reminding me of how fortunate we are.

I don't know where this story is going. I never thought it would be 9 chapters long, but it is and I'm not even close to being done. I sit down at the keyboard and the words start coming out of me . . . I don't even know from where. I'm just letting the plot find its own way and lead me along, writing prompt by writing prompt . . .
