#171 - Indulgence

I looked to see if we had done this topic before (it's getting trickier to remember!) and found that the only time we had used the word 'indulgence' was on the fourth week and it wasn't even the topic! It has been a little bit too long since we were indulged. What do you make of that?

I thought this was going to be a hard one until i remembered the simple things that when put together make happy indulgence :)

My indulgence piece relates to a contest and interview I'm hosting at my blog so writers can indulge in the inspiration of writing guru Mark David Gerson. The contest runs until Sunday evening and one commenter will be able to indulge their creative side in a 2 CD set of guided meditations for writers.

I hope you pop in and enter!

@ Understanding Alice--I tried to comment on your thoughts of hot cocoa, hubby and a movie, but the comment form never showed and kept kicking to nothing. Sorry. :(

I used the same story I wrote for the Carry On Tuesday prompt with a little reworking :) It's long and it is my five hundredth blog post!

I have been gone camping for a week. It is an indulgence that makes me appreciate things like showers and pillows that smell like spring and not like smoke!

A bit of poetry much to serious I fear but I sleep to much so I was giving myself a lecture!
