Berowne, could not leave comment at your site, so here it is: Berowne, you sly devil. You didn't even have to mention "Mad Men" for me - we are huge fans.
The high-fructose corn syrup in solid form - brilliant. A scathing slap at the ad industry and the FDA in one fell swoop! Plus the "R. Phillip" made me thing Morris... and that led to them changing out their food division's name to Altria. Makes your head spin. Genius! Amy BL
I'm participating in the Art House Co-op's FICTION PROJECT and am using the weekly prompts...with a little help from my 16-yr-old character. LOL. Check it out.
This is my first scribbling and i'm very excited. I hope I fit in well everyone here is so creative and it's nice to have something like this to look forward to every week.
Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

A threat from the deep.
In blogging about progress, I've realized there are many things in my life about which I'm feeling grateful and good!
Sunday Scribblings is a part of my yearly goals. Can't wait! :)
Progress sometimes takes the form of a simple conversation!
Posting for the 1st time xx
Collaborative poem for New Year.
" New Year's Eve "
Anyone spare a line or two?
Happy New Year to all!
So what is progress anyway?
OK, a bit of a cheat, since this was written for an earlier prompt. But it gives you a good idea on my progress... or lack of same!!
And Lilibeth - developers will call the draining of a marsh and subsequent construction of a new WalMart "progress"! Amy

I will report back weekly for my prompts :]
Been a while. Just felt like writing tonight. Not sure how good it is, but felt good to write it.
I tried to do the best I could with what little I know. If there are any visitors from Kazakhstan, I hope that you will forgive me.
I feel not-quite-finished, but at that point where I'm just spinning my wheels.

The biggest progress for me is getting this done... late, but I got another one finished.
What progress will I have made in the next 5 years?
