#153 - "Listen up because this is important!"

What pressing matter do you have weighing on your mind? What would you like to say to someone? What would you like to say to the world? Or to yourself? What do you think is important enough to make people listen? What would make you say, "Listen up because this is important?"

Is this important...well it is to me. My daughter called be yesterday to say she loved the stories about Jessie and Frog. The Morning Side of Life about children and the adults that fill their lives...partly mine and partly fiction. "Now listen up" I would have said in those day when I was a teacher. "This is important!" Thank you in advance for taking the time to read.

Ricky has a very important announcement for his band of demon rockers, but as usual, they aren't listening.

Also, be sure to check out the tour scrapbook (right sidebar) and say hi to the band and other fans in the new tagbox!

This week's topic inspired me to finally finish a rant I've been working on since late January about my frustration with the new "recessionista" journalism and how the bad economy inspired my artwork:

What a wonderful idea you have here on Sunday Scribblings. It's really difficult to find a community (such as yours) for people who seriously enjoy writing. I hope someone enjoys my contribution.
Thanks
