#152 -- Lost

Gotten lost in the woods? Driving? Lost a child in a store? Lost something else of value -- found it again? Lost souls, lost innocence . . . write about the word "lost."

Yayyyy what a fluke to be first ... my 'LOST' contribution can only be described as after effects of anaesthetic :) Enjoy!

Well congrats on being first! This is my first in participating. I'm not really much of writer, but what a better way to start, than joining a challenge to learn grown and have fun with.

Thanks Sunday scribbles for having something fun for me to try and play. :)

This is an interesting prompt. Here's mine.

The air was pleasant, full of chirping of birds, sweet sound of the river flowing and Vicky’s comments.
Two of them in the middle of Amazon enjoying, ignorant of what was coming.....

I hope you enjoy my search for common sense. My hope is that it has been misplaced, not lost or deceased.

Great prompt. This is my first Sunday Scribble and although my post does not cover much of the subject of "Lost" or being lost, it still makes me proud enough to post it. Hopefully some of you may read, and for those who kindly do, I thank you greatly.

I linked to a poem I posted for another meme. This poem resonates with me. The poet talks about collecting; she collects so things are not lost, therein the tie-in to this week's prompt.

I write because I want save memories, experiences I don't won't to forget. I feel cursed that I have a very poor memory so my writing is an attempt to keep what I love.

Well, this brought back some unpleasant memories but it was fun to write them out - A tale of being lost on the backroads of northwestern Maryland on the way from Raleigh to Massachusetts. What happened? You'll have to read my adventure to find out.

I love the the saying "Lost but not forgotten." For me a very, very busy week may be lost but never forgotten. Fiction, dialogue, and a letter from The Waiting Room. Sunday Ramblings!!!

Did your mama ever take off down the street, telling you to keep track of her by watching her hat? It is easy to get lost if you aren't careful.
