Thanks heavens I've never been on a shipwreck. But I've been on a limerick-worthy cruise.

Hi, I’m new to this. Here’s a short poem. This seems like a great way for creative people to stay motivated and help each other out.

Great prompt - I chose to do something a little metaphorical with it. It's so versatile!

I plunged in to see what I could create. A tough one, but I came up with something.

I thought of a life, in the metaphorical sense, being shipwrecked, and ended up with the quinzaine I posted - which serves double duty for a contest entry on Writing.com.
