#93 - "The Date"
You can either write about an actual date (blind or otherwise) or about a particular date or a due date or a deadline or the best day of your life or the day that changed your life (or if you feel cheeky you could write about the date that is a food.)

Hey, once again, thanks for the prompt...I tried to have some fun with some words on this one.
Thanks for the prompt. I think birthdays are important dates and wrote accordingly.
This prompt brought to mind a number of dates -- the date I was married, the dates my children were born... these were dates with positive memories.
There was the date my son Aaron was killed, one which nearly took my sanity -- but one I now choose fill with positive loving memories of him... a bittersweet date. The date of my heart attack, an extremely unsettling, but ultimately bittersweet date -- I survived.
I have a date of pending great celebration, as my son Justin's wedding approaches.
However, the date I chose to write about, was for me, and most of the world, a date I never will forget -- and which I choose not to forget... for so many reasons.
This prompt took me back to my early teens. I hope you enjoy reading it.
Perfect timing... yesterday was my "birth date".
I had a lot of trouble trying to think about what to write. Then it came to me - My Funeral Date.
Amazing synchronicity girls ... a prompt relating to current happenings ... again! You're both fabulous!

I have a smiley face next to my name? Is this because I went to Mister Linky's site? Curious!?
Sorry guys, I have no idea why Mr. Linkie stuck my link in there twice. Feel free to delete one. I'd do it myself but the little smilie doohickey is missing.
One date I won't forget; thanks for the prompt.
Thanks for inspiring me to write
Miss Dating? Not Me!
Thanks for another date with your great prompts.
:)
My date doesn't happen for 14 more years. I am hoping it will be sooner.
thanks for the prompt...
love the prompt
Would really love some constructive feedback on this. I am working on voice and I feel like I use a gagillion pronouns, he, she all over the place. Any thoughts on how I could do it better would be great
G'Day,
I'm back for another try. My subject; my most stressful days. Thanks for the prompt.
I posted mine. Somehow this was difficult for me. I did not want to write the mundane stuff.

I took a humorous approach this week. I wrote about library due dates.
The verb, the noun, or the fruit? I went with the verb, but the fruit is mentioned. http://www.looseleafnotes.com/notes/2008/01/the_dating_game.html
I think I went off on a tangent, but I think you'll enjoy it anyway.
Thanks for the inspiration - I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Peace, JP/deb
No struggling for an idea on this one!

There are so many , too many, choices and so I struggled to choose. Then while reading Ray Bradbury's book "

Sweet idea. The first thing that came to mind was the dinner dates I used to have with my son when he was only two.

Oh, the timing of this prompt! My entry is up: http://creativekarina.blogspot.com/2008/01/sunday-scribblings-7-date.html
I don't know where this story is leading. It just keeps pouring out of me with the various prompts . . . almost like it has been inside me for years and years and is now spilling out . . . I'm just going with it. I've never written fiction before, by the way, so stop by and give me some constructive criticism. I welcome it.
Reliving awkward moments of almost twenty years ago. Let's call it catharsis! :)

Wonderful prompt!
i loved writing this...a great prompt...
This one was tough, for some reason. I'd like to know what everyone thinks.
Here's me, and it was fun to write, remembering that wonderful night.
Thanks!
