Well, we're all as old as we have ever been, and we're all at different stages of considering the aging process. What thoughts do you have on the subject?
I will have to say that you have found the right blog. Just type "aging in the search or go to the "Etta" stories or "the waiting room for heaven". The blog is filled with the subject. Most of it is humorous but some is just a little sad. Just enjoy yourself...and forgive my typos.
I've only stumbled upon this blog this week. I can tell this will be a lot of fun! I was looking forward to writing something to the topic. But the topic fit so perfectly a song I have already written (and recorded). I'll be happy to make some acquaintances here. It's nice to meet you, in advance.
Every Saturday (or thereabouts!) we'll post a writing prompt. (No, not on Sunday because then you can post your writing on Sunday!)
You create a piece of writing inspired by that writing prompt.
You post your writing on your blog and leave a comment here to let us know you have participated. (Please try to leave us the perma-link to the actual post if you can!)
We'll publish the links here for people to follow and read!
Need some suggestions?
You could try: a piece of timed writing, a poem, a story, a song, a piece of prose, a list - anything to get your pen moving!

Mine is at least 90% autobiographical. But if the truth were told the remaining 10% is more biographical than I would care to admit.

Walter’s old. He’s lived a full life. Now he’s getting ready to die. He has words of wisdom. Get them while they’re hot…
Late, as usual, but still Sunday on both American coasts. This is an odd story about aging.
