#102 -- Smorgasbord
So, a "smorgasbord" is a buffet-style meal served in Sweden, traditionally at the holidays; in America it is a serve-yourself-whatever-you-want-type restaurant. Here, it can be either of these things, or you can choose a prompt from among the first 101 Sunday Scribblings prompts! I don't think there is anyone who has done them all, and I thought it was time to collect them all together, so here they are. Choose away!

What a fabulous idea! :)
My problem with so much variety is that I'll have to choose. I like the variety per se, choosing is the problem.
*sigh* I'll have to sleep on it.
I chose a subject near to my heart! 'In the kitchen'
I love this. Truly!
Now I know what smorgasbord means! A bit of a trip down memory lane reading through all the old prompts!
My choice was 'Rooted'.
change
I picked "in the kitchen" and nothing to do with good. Fun prompts.
I meant, "In the kitchen" and nothing to do with FOOD!
what fun! Thanks for the gift of choice - I chose "I have an idea". :)
Thanks for the tasty smorgasbord. I helped myself to a serving of "Morning" and to another of "Three Wishes," combining them in Morning & Three Wishes.
I decided to pick two: "Walk" and "passion"
I chose "rooted:" Yard Yarns.
Here's what i am dishing out - Untitled - I know it fits in the Smorgasbord somewhere..but where?! Any help please in fixing the flavour!
Like so many times before Sunday Scribblings Synchronicity again ... many previous prompts applied to my saga ... you girls are stupendous xx ;)Thank YOU!

Too many choices but I went with eccentricity.

xo
How nice to be able to choose among those prompts that happened even before I began to blog!
Thank you for the opportunity!
boy this topic got me hot!
I really enjoyed seeing all the prompts listed, there are so many I wish I would have done. :)
I picked three to work with: skin, crush and wings.
I chose "eccentric" from one of my archived posts Life Lesson #2: Be Eccentric Now
What a brilliant topic! The trouble was choosing from a feast of ideas! Hope you enjoy my posting!
Gemma
what an excellent idea of this week's prompt... bravo!!! i will be back...
I've used 97 of the prompts! 4 more to go.
I'm new around here, so I think my older stuff should count.
But I'll behave and play by the rules this time.
Baking Cookies
I used the prompt "Anticipation" and I hope you will think in a unique way.

This is great! I chose, "The Books I Would Write."
Congrats on almost two years of prompts!
I chose a Bedtime Story
Mea Culpa x 2.
I didn't choose just one prompt.
It is a little bit bit long.
But in my defence, I had a fantastic time writing this.
What great fun! SusieJ has been telling me to do this, so I entered with the prompt "Why I live where I live.
Sorry...EEK! I keep forgetting my blog is on Wordpress now. Shelly Kneupper Tucker is at This Eclectic Life
It's so hard for WordPress folks (scatterbrained ones) to comment correctly on Blogger
It actually fits my week well, so I just wrote about it. A smorgasborg of work--and those who disdain it.
What does a FORTUNE COOKIE and a four leaf clover found in a dusty of book have in common?

Hola....... "arboleda" está aquí de nuevo!
What a terrific choice- thank you for giving us free reign!
Mine is 'When We Were Wee' and it's up at

Happy weekend!
Hey Everybody!! I didn't think I would be able to participate this week at all since I am traveling - but I got some time at the Airport!! We are about to board so I got to go! I will try (though I can't promise) to check out as many SS contributors as I can from PARIS!!! Wish me luck!
I did 'Introductions' but it is not a usual 'my name is'....
It is the real me!
Thanks for all your support.
I get scared when things get abstract. It was simply by fluke I decided to do Real Life!
My, that was too much variety..It was tough making up my mind...but here is my offfering :)
http://ontheprompt.blogspot.com/2008/03/mask.html
hungry now...:)
http://wordsmithextraordinaire.wordpress.com/2008/03/16/sunday-scribblings-7/
I chose to write about My First Love.
I chose the prompt 'Troubled' for my story.
Good day Scribblers,
Such an array of choices today. Literally a smörgåsbord of literary endeavors. I'm in a conundrum; I don't know which to taste first.
May I suggest to you, to place this morsel on your plate:

Thanks,

I felt a little guilty getting to take advantage of the smorgasbord, being new to the group, so thanks. I chose hair!
http://amyrigby.blogspot.com/2008/03/bang-theory.html
This is very popular this week -- only 10:30 a.m. Sunday and I'm #72...excellent turn out!
To much choice this week.
great idea...
i chose hair...
as it was already on my mind
this week
anyhow...
Ack! Why do I always forget to link to the actual post and not the blog in general?!?!!
Here's the actual post, if you're interested:
http://lorivillarreal.typepad.com/do_you_realize/2008/03/sunday-scribbli.html
I chose bed.
Fun to write.
so i'm not sure i want to specifiy a certain prompt, it actually goes with a couple, but this was perfect for me. i had one already done today and wondered where i'd put it. thanks.
Better late than never. I choose "Dear Diary". It was harder than I thought it would be to write about.
I chose skin. Not my best...
Touch, Skin, Flesh
This one ended up in a totally unexpected place.
Since I haven't been a very regular contributor, I thought I'd catch up all at once. I used all the prompts, minus the 8 I've already used.
Much, much more difficult than I thought. I found out it ain't easy trying to write something even semi-coherent out of that many different prompts!
I love planning THESE kinds of smorgasboards:
http://roswellgray.livejournal.com/111845.html
Is there a way that there could be a quick link set up so the smorgasboard of topics could become a permanent buffett, say, if we WANTED to try to do all of them?
Cool, cool. This is my first Sunday Scribble. I chose to do one on "Sleep (and/or Teeth)". I was informed of the Scribble by thisgirlremembers, and it was a ton of fun. My post can be found at http://lifedoesntimitate.wordpress.com/2008/03/15/12/
While your there, feel free to look around and read some other posts.
-- lifedoesntimitate
Ack! I know it doesn't really matter, but I meant "While YOU'RE there...," not "While YOUR there..."
Mine's finally done, I didn't have enough time this afternoon to finish it, my nap interferred!
http://sagecoveredhills.blogspot.com/2008/03/sunday-scribblings-hotel-stories.html
This was fun. I continued my story from last week using smorgasbord AND kissing.
http://writingherlife.blogspot.com/2008/03/sunday-scribblings-veritable-smrgsbord.html
What fun! I loved the SMORGASBORD of ideas this time! It was hard to choose just one . . . but I took SMORGASBORD.

Mine will be up in a few minutes. So great to see the whole list. :)
I need to be more consistent in doing this. The prompt I used was "Time Machine."
First time :). I'm snagging some "inspiration."
This was such a treat. I went back to read some of my past entries. It was a real pleasure.
Thanks!
Oh, wonderful! I latched onto "earliest memory" and had great fun reminiscing. :)
She Was Born with It
IN THE KITCHEN . . .
Here's "COOKING DOWN A STORM," right on my blog page. Scroll down, and look in the right-hand column, in the blue bar.

Or . . . you can read it here:
Cooking Down a Storm
That was a difficult one! So much to choose from! :)
I know I'm late. But who would want to miss an opportunity like this? :D I picked Passion!
I like writing about food... thanks!
Fascinating prompt ... thank you! JP/deb
Another better late than never... Your prompt #102, my SS week #5, “Sunday Scribblings – The smorgasbord challenge” I broke the rules and turned it into a challenge for myself, to see if I could write something in true overstuffed smorgasbord style, with all 102 Sunday Scribblings prompts crammed into it...AND have it turn out not too horribly... I'm not thrilled with the result, but it could be worse. It was fun and it WAS a challenge.
Hi there! I am starting a blogroll of writing prompt sites on my blogs and was wondering if you minded if I added you to my list.
One for Nemesis!
You must have been reading my mind! Last week my sister and I set up an inspirational art and writing blog for my high school students(and anyone else). Then they asked me to teach them how to start a blog. So today I did and I decided to use their blogs instead of the traditional journals used in most high school English classes. On the way home from school I realized that I needed a list of tipics, and like magic here one is . Thank you!!!!
Here's a flash story on Who else I might have been.
while i was skimming through the list the first thing that caught my attention was two peas in a pod. but so many topics to choose from!
Thank you for this post. I've never done a Sunday Scribblings post before. I'm so excited! I've chosen Left & Right and a bit of Instructions. The blog name is Loose Ends.
